An Australian information project about WinSpirit and the wider field of offshore casinos that accept AUD accounts. This page covers who we are, what we do, and what we will not do.
This is an information site, not a casino. We hold no player accounts, process no payments, and run no games. Everything here is written to answer one practical question: what does an Australian actually need to know before opening an account at an offshore operator, and what does that operator's paperwork say that its marketing does not.
The main body of work is the WinSpirit casino guide, built around access, registration, deposits, bonus terms and withdrawal conditions. Supporting pages explain the method behind it.
Australian players sit in an awkward position. The Interactive Gambling Act 2001 places its prohibition on operators supplying services here, not on the individuals who use them, which means a large offshore market exists that no Australian regulator supervises. Nobody domestically audits the bonus terms, nobody checks the withdrawal ceilings, and if a dispute goes wrong there is no local body with power to intervene.
In that vacuum, most of the available information is written by people paid on conversion, and it shows: identical figures repeated across dozens of pages, promotional claims quoted as fact, and awkward clauses omitted entirely. We are also commercially funded, which we set out plainly in the affiliate disclosure. The difference we aim for is that the awkward clauses go in anyway.
Content is written and maintained by Dean Ryan, who works from operator documents, regulator notices and complaint files. Author attribution is not decoration here: every substantive claim traces back to a named source or an explicitly stated limitation, and the process behind that sits in the editorial policy.
We are not WinSpirit's support team. If you have a dispute over a deposit, a withdrawal, a bonus or a closed account, raise it with the operator directly and, failing that, with the Curaçao Gaming Authority or a complaint mediation service. We cannot see your account, cannot influence a decision, and cannot recover funds.
We are also not a substitute for help with a gambling problem. If play has stopped being entertainment, the responsible gambling page lists free and confidential Australian services, and reading it is more useful than anything else on this site.
